Why switch to natural deodorant?

You might be thinking what’s next on the list with this all natural stuff. Well here’s exactly why you should switch to all natural deodorant if you don’t switch anything else...
Sweating is good!!
You’d think why would I want to sweat underneath my arms. If anything I want to prevent that. Sweating is very essential to our bodies. It regulates the body’s temperature and releases toxins unwanted. Antiperspirants and chemical-laden deodorants work to clog your pores and don’t allow the body to properly release the sweat necessary to cool down the body and release toxins (why they’re called anti-perspirants). Oh and by the way they’re completely unnecessary for preventing body odor.
Where does the odor come from when you fail to use deodorant?
Sweat is actually just water and salt. What creates that odor is when sweat comes into contact with the natural bacteria that lives on our skin. Changing this reaction is easily done with natural deodorant. Our (Urbane) natural deodorant is formulated to last at least 2 days, just in case you can’t make it to the shower so you’ll still smell fresh!
Anti-Perspirants can cause skin issues
As mentioned earlier these deodorants work by closing up your pores which means sweat builds up beneath the skin. Wow can you believe that? This can cause bumpy and irritated skin. If you’ve had these problems or others consider trying natural deodorant this may save you the embarrassment while sitting back enjoying a night of television or day the beach!
....and may make perspiration worst!
That sweat that you’ve been building up underneath your skin digest right back into your body, you don’t want that do you, sounds pretty gross right?...making your sweat smell even worse. Ever wonder why you may get those awful sweat stains in your shirts? Well, the aluminum compounds can cause an acidic reaction to fabric, which is what makes those gross sweat stains.
All in all...
Not only does the use of only natural ingredients in deodorants limit the skin issues and diseases they provide many benefits themselves. They don’t block pores so that good bacteria keeps working meaning less odor even when you’re not wearing it (no more applying at bed time which saves you money from less use in the long run). A irritation-free pit results in a closer longer lasting shave. Say goodbye to those yellow pit stains (adios amigos). Some ingredients used in natural deodorants (like witch hazel) can also shrink pores and smooth razor burn.
Convinced yet? Well after writing this I’m definitely staying shy of anti-perspiration deodorant and helllooo to all natural!
